Sonadow: Last Night, Good Night 2- Look beyond your eyes 5

   Shallow was in the golden castle of the werehog, where he was now in the living room next to a nice fire and was knelled crying on a chair he could have not believe what his life was turning into. He was now in hands of a ugly fearful beast, Shallow manage to calm down he sobbed loudly even do he tried to calm it and rubbed his eye, his cheeks were pink from all the crying. The werehog had enter the living room to find a tearful Shallow, Doom went to the young hedgehog who moved away a little looking at him sad. Doom sigh he knew this would happen he also felt bad for Shallow how sad he was, "It is late you should get some rest come I shall lead you to your room" said Doom, Shallow closed his eyes lowering his head and ears nodding. Doom was taking the hedgehog to a room he planned to find one perfect for Shallow and found one about the perfect style, Shallow saw the front door it had a golden disk and suddenly his name was there it was Shallow and with a nice rose at the beggining of the S and in the end of the W. Doom the werehog open the door, "This is where you will be staying" he said, Shallow looked at him and then went inside the room it was beautiful but it most of the desigh was carefully chosen by color and most of it was decorated it some flowers. Shallow did like the room but didn't feel better he still felt different, "Get some rest" Doom closed the door leaving the hedgehog alone. Shallow never felt that alone in all his life he wanted Jade to be there he wanted his brother to read him another story to talk to him, Shallow went to the window, "Jade I miss you already" he said. Shallow lied down on the bed and cried himself to sleep, while Jade couldn't sleep all night thinking of his brother trap in a horrible place. The next morning when Shallow was opening his eyes he found himself in the same place was last night in the golden castle of the werehog and in the room. Shallow had seen a note on the nightstand, Shallow grabbed it and started to read, "Meet me down stairs for breakfast" he read. He knew it was the werehog who had written this so he did as he was requested, Shallow was nervour to meet him in the kitchen. Shallow saw that the table was empty but there was a nice breakfast it was warm and ready to be eating. He sat down waiting for the werehog to arrive, Shallow waited for a little while when he heard the noise of the door opening he knew it was the werehog, "So you did came" he said. His voice sounded a bit cruel to Shallow, he saw the werehog passing right by him, Shallow stared at him but then he looked away. "Your mad at me for what I did?" he asked, "Mister werehog I-?" Shallow could barely speak to him from the fear, "Doom call me Doom" he said. "Doom I don't know why you did this but, I'm not mad..... I'm just upset" said Shallow, he felt the werehog's hand on his chin and moved it making Shallow look at him, "Look at me when your talking" he said. Shallow got a bit scared and closed his eyes, "I know fear me because I am ugly" said Doom as he removed his hand, Shallow opened his eyes again staring at the werehog. "As long as your staying here you will follow my rules, but I will give you the basic ones you will always put in practice" said Doom, Shallow just listen to the werehog, "First the castle is your home you can anywhere in the castle just anywhere you like but stay away from the maze it can be tricky and you can get lost" he said. Shallow wasn't sure why but he was curious about that, "Second you will do as I say at all times" he said, Shallow didn't like that rule much it seemed to directive, "And third you can never and I mean never leave this castle, I don't care how many times you escape I will find you and bring you back" said Doom. "I just want to go home" said Shallow, he was about to break again, "No you can not leave this place you made a deal with me and I don't care if you regret it now you can never leave" said Doom, "You can't keep me a prisoner here!" Shallow said it louder as if he was screaming at Doom. Doom punch the table hard ruining some of the foot with his fist, "You will do as I say!" yelled Doom loudly it almost seemed like a roar, Shallow was so shocked and frighten he started to cry. He looked away and put his hands and head on the table crying, Doom realized he had just frighten the hedgehog more than he though. Doom pass his nails through Shallow's quills petting him to calm the hedgehog, "Go away don't touch me!" screamed Shallow not wanted to be touch by the werehog. Doom stopped and Shallow quickly got up and ran to the room he was giving it was the nice decorate one. Doom decided not to bother the hedgehog and give him some time to adapt himself around the place. Shallow went to his room and tried to stay calm but he couldn't help but cry he was upset, "Get me out of here" said Shallow he didn't wanted to be there. 

   Back in the castle, Jade was having a hard time about Shallow, he felt like his other half was token away and he got upset. Golden was near by he was glad to had found Jade and went to him, "Jade" he called out, Jade looked at him with his sad eyes that Golden could notice, "Hi Golden" said Jade with a low voice. Golden hugged Jade holding his head on his chest, "Is something the matter Jade? Why are you so upset?" asked Golden, "Golden I'm just not feeling so good" said Jade, Scamp went to him. "Where is Shallow?" asked Scamp but Jade couldn't tell him he wasn't comfortable with it, "No he just went to a trip" said Jade forcing a smile, "So that is why you are so upset?" -asked Golden, "Yes I'm just upset because he is gone" said Jade he push Golden away so he would let him go and Jade left, "I need to go" said Jade not wanting to look back. He went to his room and locked the door, he sigh and lied down on his bed not able to do anything he notice something odd about Shallow's flower and Jade for up went to it, he picked the rose up and saw the little diamond on the bottom. He pulled it out and the rose disintegrated Jade was a bit scared by that, but then he saw the diamond was clear blue like the rose was but Jade felt something strange about it. Jade looked at it firmly and it seemed similar and he looked himself in the mirror the jewelry he was wearing he compare the red little stones they were the same as the clear blue stone but Jade was thoughtful, where did that stone came from? Jade the diamond in a little hacky sack. Jade's little bird friend went on Jade's head tweeting, "Oh hello Melody" said Jade grabbing his bird friend and hugged him, "Your the only one that can make me feel better in this moments" said Jade me looked a bit sad, Melody cuddle her little head to him, then she fly off to the balcony tweeting calling Jade. Jade went to the balcony and looked outside, "What is it?" asked Jade, Melody tweeted pointing with her beak at the forest. "No Melody I can't go to the forest and it's dangerous to go alone, I have more courage on going when I am with Shallow, I guess he was the reason why act so brave around him sometimes but I am also so unsure" said Jade, he heard something and looked down it was Shadow speaking with the guards and sending them off to look for Shallow, "The werehog had said that my dad stole something from him and made a deal to exchange one of us, I just can't believe my dad" said Jade he was now disappointed at him and was so upset with what had happen. Jade decided to hold his anger inside and just try to forget about it but that was impossible, "Hey Melody can you do me a favor? Bring me one of those coral things, that would make me feel allot better" said Jade. Melody nod and went to the beach to look for coral. Sonic was in the garden he was upset that is son was kidnapped, "Oh Shallow my baby I know your passing by a hard time and I know you can hold on I just know it" said Sonic, Shadow saw Sonic in the garden, "Sonic what are you doing out here?" he asked, "Well my son has been kidnapped by a werehog all I wish is for the werehog to be gentle with Shallow" said Sonic, "Are you saying you actually give up and let that thing have our son?" asked Shadow, "Shadow don't forget you were once one of them, and I was the only one that understand you an knew you were really sweet" said Sonic, "I know Sonic but the werehog I was and the werehog he was are different I came face to face with that thing and it almost rip my arm off" said Shadow, "What if he was trying to defend himself many people try to kill a perfect werehog for themselves" said Sonic, "Sonic I am not the bad guy here, at least you stay with me and loved me because you wanted to not because I forced you" said Shadow, "Shadow leave me alone I have no time for a discussion just leave" said Sonic putting a hand on his forehead. Shadow grabbed Sonic's hands and pulled him a little closer, "Sonic I know you are just looking in the bright side of things" said Shadow, "Shadow I don't care of I don't see him ever again just knowing he is happy will make me feel happy" said Sonic. Shadow kissed Sonic's forehead, "It's okay Soniku" said Shadow.

  Shallow was tired in staying in that room all this time even if it was beautifully decorated. He went around the castle he wasn't so sure just to walk around he knew the werehog must have still be around. He was just so frighten from the werehog he just wanted to run off but he knew the werehog would come right at him. So he stayed smart he started to walk around the castle and see what happen if he did found the werehog , Shallow looked near by at the end of the hall there was a big door of a room and he saw something writing on it in gold and with a hint of silver it said "Doom's room" somehow Shallow knew that was his name. "So he is named Doom that is..... Quiet unique" said Shallow trying not to find the negative said of it. Shallow walked away just in case and started to look around the castle to see what he could find the castle had many design marble, and silver but in the outside all gold. Shallow like it, he went outside and looked at the golden gate as well, Shallow looked at it, he then turned his head to look at the maze that Doom told him about. Shallow was a bit curious and went near by it, the bushes moved a little and Shallow flinch he though it was Doom. It was a cute white-pink bunny she looked and Shallow wondering, "Ohhh sorry miss Bunny did I scared?" asked Shallow. The bunny just stared at him and licked her little paws to wash her face, "Awwww your so cute" Shallow knelled down an started to pet her head, the bunny then started to hop around and went out the gate, "Hey come back" Shallow reached out for the bunny but he was afraid to leave beyond the gate. Shallow looked behind him, he saw nothing at all and was sure Doom wasn't around and so he opened the gate quietly and closed it going behind the bunny. "Miss bunny, where are you?" Shallow looked around in the forest somehow it seemed familiar this forest, Shallow was tense he didn't knew if danger could be around and he went looking just for the bunny. Shallow saw something small not far he found the bunny drinking from a little puddle, "If you wanted something to drink I could have gotten you water" said Shallow as he picked up the bunny. Shallow looked at her she poke her nose against Shallow's. Shallow kissed it, "You have a pretty nose" Shallow tool the bunny and was heading back but he heard something, Shallow looked behind him he was shocked something big and hairy was behind him it was bear it stood up in its two feet. Shallow tremble holding on to the bunny he had he was frighten he once heard about bear encounters and they don't end up pretty. The bear roar loudly, "AHHHHHH!" Shallow started to run away from the bear he didn't knew where he was going he didn't knew anything about the forest but the bear did.he just chase after Shallow but he was after him for the bunny, Shallow run and run but he found himself in a dead end with rock. Shallow was frighten he knelled to the ground when the bear came near him, "Go away!" yelled Shallow holding the bunny close, The bear was about to attack Shallow when Doom jumped out and bite the bear by the neck. Shallow saw how they fight Doom was vicious with only a bite he intimidated the bear they just roar at each other. Doom was about to slash him but the bear took a step back and left knowing that he wouldn't win the fight, Shallow started to shake he never felt this scared in his life. Doom stood in front of him glaring at the hedgehog, Shallow looked at him he lowered his head an let the tears fall from his face, he knew that Doom was mad at him and was going to punish him so he waited. Doom felt pity for the hedgehog he rubbed Shallow's teary cheek against him muzzle showing compassion to Shallow. Shallow was a bit confused he opened his eyes and looked up at Doom, "Come" he said, Shallow got up and went back with Doom. They didn't talk along the way, Doom just opened the gate letting Shallow enter first and then he went inside. Shallow didn't let go of the bunny he pet it gently Shallow was a bit sad. Doom went to him and saw him like that and looked at the bunny, "Why the face?" asked Doom, "Wha?" Shallow whisper, "Why are you upset?, your fine now you and your bunny" said Doom, "I can keep it?" asked Shallow lowly, "I don't see why not?" said Doom. Shallow was a bit surprise he though Doom was going to take it away and eat it or get rid of it, Shallow hugged the bunny close and felt relieved, "Just because I am ugly and look vicious doesn't mean I am cold hearted" said Doom. Shallow though something about that but it was wrong of him, he looked at Doom in a different way not scared but it was different. Doom was a bit thoughtful because of that, Shallow went to Doom and kissed his cheek gently. Doom looked at Shallow his muzzle was a little pink he had never felt a little kiss on his cheek before he touch his cheek, "What was that?" he asked, "A thank you for saving me" said Shallow. Doom nod "Alright then........ I should get back to my chores be careful and don't go beyond the castle" said Doom, "Alright" whispered Shallow. Doom looked at Shallow's cute little face and felt odd but quickly left. Shallow gaze at him as he left, he went to his room and put the bunny on his bed, "Your my new little friend hmmm what should I name you?" asked Shallow, "Hu Hu Hu Fluffepuff I like that name" said the little bunny, "Hmmm Fluffepuff it does sound a bit feminine..... Wait you can talk?" asked Shallow, "Yes and you are surprise by that when you are in a magical castle with a werehog for a boyfriend" said Fluffepuff, "Oh no no no Doom is not my boyfriend, he is just a guy who I am living with forever" said Shallow lowering his ears, "Oh your husband?" asked Fluffepuff, "No no no he and I aren't anything it's just something that happen and now I am here forever" said Shallow, "Well it didn't look like that, he seems like a nice werehog" said Fluffepuff. Shallow looked at Fluffepuff confused, "You think so?" he asked, "Well some creature that is bigger than me and doesn't want to eat me is a nice guy to me, also I like to thank you for saving me from that big bear" said Fluffepuff, "No problem" said Shallow smiling at her. "So what where you doing in the bushes of the maze?" asked Shallow, "Well your friend scared me and I needed to protect my self, he knew I was there but he just went through the maze it looks like he knew it pretty well to be able to go through it and out" said Fluffepuff, "What is on the other side?" asked Shallow, "I don't know I never made it so far" said Fluffepuff. Shallow wonder what was on the other side his curiosity was tempting him, "Well I bet is nothing important" said Fluffepuff, "Oh so are there more of you?" asked Shallow, "Well yes I do have more bunny friends" said Fluffepuff, "And do they all talk?" asked Shallow, "Well unmmm yes" said Fluffepuff. Shallow giggled a bit, Doom first knocked and then enter the room he a base with beautiful clear blue roses, he went to Shallow sat on the bed. "I brought you this, I notice you really like this color" said Doom, Shallow looked at the base and blush looking at Doom, "There beautiful" said Shallow, Doom put them on the nightstand, "You'll be having dinner with me later" said Doom, Shallow nod. Doom left the room after that, "wooooooo a date" Fluffepuff, Shallow blush. He looked at the flowers that Doom had brought him and grabbed one sniffing it, "You should wear something nice" said Fluffepuff, "It's not a date, I don't even think he likes me" said Shallow, "Well he saved you from a bear and brings you a base of flowers .... Hmmm yeah he hates you allot" said Fluffepuff sarcastically. Shallow looked at the flower and was thoughtful about it, "No I can't it be wrong of me if I do this" said Shallow, "Why? Why deny it? Because he is a werehog?" asked Fluffepuff, "No because he just has me like a prisoner my dad took something from him and he took me" said Shallow he lowered his ears, "Ohh Shallow why think of it like that?" asked Flufflepuff. "I'm sorry Fluffepuff but I just can't Love someone like him, I'm so confused" said Shallow, "But you have to go, at least a thank you for he saving part" said Fluffepuff smiling at him, "I already thank him but it doesn't make me change my mind, I won't go to dinner" said Shallow. Fluffepuff felt bad for Shallow and also Doom,she got off the bed and hop away she went out the room. 

   Shallow decided to sleep waiting for the next day and relax. He spend a long time sleeping then he heard something he was then pulled by arm and opened his eyes the werehog was there glaring at him, "Why didn't you came for dinner?!" he asked yelling, "I didn't felt comfortable doing this" said Shallow scared the poor things was frighten, "Please don't hurt me" he wrapped up in a ball. "You should have though about that when you agree with me and you will stay for me forever and you will be mine" said Doom as he threw Shallow on the floor he bite Shallow roughly and made him scream loudly. Shallow then opened his eyes his was in his room it was just a horrible, "Hey?" asked Doom, Shallow got scared and backed away, "Why didn't you came to dinner?" he asked. Shallow looked down, "I'm sorry I just didn't felt comfortable but we can have breakfast everymorning" said Shallow trying to fix things, "No it's fine I understand" said Doom his voice seemed a bit mad and was about to leave, "No it's not what you think" said Shallow he felt bad, "No you simply have the same thinking as the rest that I am nothing but a beast" said Doom leaving. Shallow face palm himself, "Oh man why did I do that?" asked Shallow, "See you could have gotten to a good friendship" said Fluffepuff, "Oh Flufflepuff please I just need to rest" said Shallow he changed into some purple pajamas that were around and he laid back against his pillow and Fluffepuff cuddle to him sweetly. Shallow cuddle to his pillow waiting for the day light, but on the contrary he heard the noise of a thunder, Shallow quickly got up and looked outside the window he saw the clouds were all black and a big lightning came out with a thunder. Shallow for scared and went to the bed he covered his ears and started to scream every time heard a thunder. Fluffepuff was just sleeping she was too deep in sleep she didn't mind the noise of a thunder, Shallow was too scare he got out of the room scared. He looked at the door that wasn't so far away Doom's door Shallow wasn't sure to go inside but he just didn't wanted to be alone he knocked on the door but no one answer it. Shallow heard another thunder he lowered his ears and opened the door walking inside, the room was amazingly decorated he saw the bed was a king size and there was no one. Shallow wonder where Doom might have been, "What are you doing here this is not your room" said Doom, Shallow turned around and saw him "I- I - I was just loo-" Shallow tried to explain but another thunder strike and Shallow hugged Doom burying his face in his chest and tears fell down his face. Doom put his hand on his back, "Shallow?" he asked, "I'm scared please ....... Can I stay with you tonight?" asked Shallow. Doom saw that Shallow was frighten he though about it a little and saw how Shallow cuddle to his chest. "Alright you can sleep with me for the night" said Doom. He got on the bed first and Shallow for next to him and went close to his chest, "Can you put your arms around me? It will make me feel safe" said Shallow. Doom did as he asked "Why are you so frighten?" asked Doom he felt Shallow shiver a little, "I just don't like thunder but when it was like this my daddy use to do this to me all the time to make me feel better" said Shallow cuddling to his chest. Doom petted his quills and feel asleep with Shallow in his arms.
