  Sonic was heading back to the castles but then he found himself with Marcy, "Hi Sonic" said Marcy, "Oh hi Marcy, I haven't seen you in a while" said Sonic, "Yeah well I have been busy and you?" asked Marcy. Sonic was a little nervous, "Oh nothing just at the castle and stuff" said Sonic, "Oh really cause yesterday you weren't around and also I saw something interesting" said Marcy, Sonic realized something and got a little suspicious, "Like what?" asked Sonic, "Well for some reason you were in the beach and a very hairy creature appeared" said Marcy, Sonic was now exposed Marcy already knew he's secret. Sonic realized if she knew, she might tell Jules, "And judging from the way he acts towards you, you two must trully like each other" said Marcy, "Please Marcy don't tell my dad he would go crazy if he knows" said Sonic trying to convince Marcy, "Don't worry hon I won't tell your father, you can trust me plus I don't want to break such a pretty relationship" said Marcy, "Thank you Marcy" said Sonic, "Don't worry Sonic, your secret is safe with me" said Marcy, Sonic hugged her "So what will you do now, head to your boy....friend?" asked Marcy teasing him, Sonic blush. He then let go of Marcy worried looking, "I... I can't Marcy my dad wants me in the castle at all time" said Sonic, "Don't worry I'll take control of this situation you just go ahead with your boyfriend and make sure to give him many kisses" said Marcy she then left, Sonic's face was burning red.  

  Shadow was with the clan, he was getting tired an started to leave, Shade quickly stopped him, "Shadow where are you going?" asked Shade, "I'm going to see a friend" said Shadow as he continue to walk to the forest, "Friend? You have been with your friend since yesterday" said Shade, "Yeah so?" asked Shadow, Shade sigh "Shadow you have been acting different these days what is going on?" asked Shade, "Dad ...Uh I mean uncle I .... I have to go" said Shadow he ran off into the forest getting as far away as possible from Shade. Shade tried to stop him but he already left, "Oh Shadow what am I suppose to do with you?" asked Shade, he return to the clan. 

  Shadow was tired of he's life being apart of he's clan, plenty Wolfs even though he could be like he's father. Shadow head to the beach to meet he's new lover, Sonic was on a rock playing with the water with he's tail. Shadow wen't to him and wrapped he's arms around Sonic's waist kissing he's shoulder, "Shadow" said Sonic as he giggled, Sonic the made a sad face, "Is something wrong Soniku?" asked Shadow, "It's my dad, he was mad at me because of the ring and told me I couldn't  leave the castle" said Sonic, "Then how are you here?" asked Shadow, "Well I escaped and my friend had this under control" said Sonic, "Are you sure? I mean he is your father shouldn't you follow he's rules?" asked Shadow, "No Shadow he already thinks I won't be a good prince" said Sonic, "Why?" asked Shadow, "Because of that day, the first time we meet, the accident that happen" said Sonic he didn't wanted to remember that painful memory, "Sonic your a prince you have resume your responsibilities" said Shadow, "You don't understand how it feels to be humiliated in front of everyone!" said Sonic, he covered he's face with both hands. Shadow stood in front of Sonic and remove Sonic's hand one by one, he saw Sonic was crying those tears that look like little rivers sliding down's he's cheek he had he's eyes closed. Sonic then felt something soft touching he's lips when he open he's eyes he saw Shadow was kissing him, Sonic closed he's eyes again melting into that kiss, he open them again when he didn't feel Shadow's lips, "I know it must have been hard for you Soniku, but you are the prince, I know you don't want to show your face again in that Kingdom but it's yours" said Shadow in a soft tone looking at those sad beautiful emerald eyes. Sonic was speaking between sobs "What if I get humiliated again?" asked Sonic as tears continue to escape he's eyes, Shadow put he's hand on Sonic's cheek wiping the tears away, "You will keep your head high cause that is what princes do" said Shadow, Sonic nod and tried to hold back the sobs, he was feeling a little better now, Shadow cuddle he's head to Sonic's trying to comfort him. Sonic was finally calm and looked at Shadow, "Thank you" said Sonic, Shadow smiled at him, "So now go and speak with your father" said Shadow, "Uh not now maybe later" said Sonic, Shadow just stared at him, "Please Shadow just take me to another place please?" asked Sonic, Shadow crossed he's arms, Sonic was thinking what other way to convince him, then he got the perfect idea, "Pwease Shadow" said Sonic in a babyish tone he now had big puppy eyes and he's ears all down. Shadow couldn't help it, he just couldn't say no to Sonic, "Argh fine but after this you will go to your father and talk to him" said Shadow as he picked Sonic up putting him on he's back, "Yes Shadow" said Sonic in a adorable way.

  Mephiles and Drake were now spying on Sonic and Shadow, "So what's the plan?" asked Mephiles, "Easy they will pass between those ginormous rocks all we have to do is make a accident appear. Sonic is in one side and Shadow is in another" said Drake, Mephiles roles he's eyes then he started to smell something, "We better hurry a hunter is coming near by" said Mephiles, "The hunter is part of the plan" said Drake with a grin. Sonic was starting to feel a little sick, "Shadow I don't feel so good" said Sonic, "Don't worry there is a river near by" said Shadow. Sonic keep holding on to Shadow but then he though the pain wasn't about being out of the water so what could be?. The hunters were passing by in top of were Sonic and Shadow were heading to, Mephiles and Drake were up as well waiting for the right time to strike, Mephiles looked at the hunter there weren't so far but not so close either. One seem familiar but why? Mephiles looked a little closer to the purple Chameleon and then he's eyes we're widen of what he just remember.

Flashback

"Shadow are you sure you will be fine searching for food on your own" "I'll be fine Mephiles just watch over Sonic"

"Mephiles help!" "Guys we caught ourselves a Merhog""Oh no!"

End of Flashback 

  Mephiles gasp he knew that wasn't a sigh of good, "Drake we can't attack not now" said Mephiles, "Keep quiet I'm trying to get a good target at that rock" said Drake, "No Drake you don't understand" said Mephiles trying to stop him, Drake grabbed him and threw him away, "STAY OUT OF MY WAY, I WILL MAKE SURE THEY DIE BEFORE THEY CAN EVEN BEGING" said Drake, he shot at the rock making some collapse and starting to fall. Sonic was sleeping on top of Shadow, Shadow's ear started to twitch as he heard something and looked up, he gasp "SONIC HOLD ON TIGHT!" yelled Shadow as he started to run very fast, as the rocks keep falling one was about to crush him but luckily he just and didn't get him, "That was a close one wasn't it Sonic?" asked Shadow, but Sonic wasn't with him, "Sonic?....SONIC?!" Shadow started to get very worried, "SONIC WHERE ARE YOU?!" Shadow was going nuts, "Please don't tell me he got crush" though Shadow, he was now scared, "Shadow!" yelled Sonic from the other side,Shadow's ear twitch  "Sonic! Is that you?!" asked Shadow, "Yes I'm on the other side and my tail is stuck on a rock, please help" said Sonic, Shadow was now a little calm to know Sonic was okay, "Don't worry I will be there" said Shadow as he started to clime the rocks. 

  The hunters from on too heard the large collapse of rocks, "Did you two hear that?" asked the green hedgehog, "Yeah we did Blaze stop the car" said the purple chameleon, "For the last time Scourge and Espio every time you hear something it doesn't mean it's interesting" said the purple cat as she stop. Espio and Scourge get off, "Wanna bet?" asked Scourge teasing her, Blazed rolled her eyes and got of the car they wen't near to check down, "Well well guess you were wrong Blazey, look" said Scourge pointing at the Sonic, "What is a Merhog doing in place like this?" asked Espio, Blaze took a good look at Sonic, "That's the Merhog I was going to hunt, He must have been carried by the Werehog here" said Blaze, "Well there is no Werehog now" said Scourge, "Should we get him?" he asked with a big grin. Blaze looked at them, "Sure" said Blaze she jump down with both Scourge and Espio, Sonic was still trying to get he's tail unstuck he started to groan, "Need help?" asked Scourge, Sonic looked behind him. Sonic was now shock he remember what the purple cat tried to do to him, and now she had company, "Ahhh! Get away!" yelled Sonic now he was more desperate to get he's tail free, "Calm down, or you'll get your tail hurt" sad Espio as he wen't to the rock and lift it, Scourge picked Sonic up, "Well your a pretty little fish" said Scourge with a grin, "Let's just get him and leave" said Blaze she was more worried that Shadow might appear, "Alright" said Scourge, Sonic didn't knew what to do he was so scared now, "SHADOW SHADOW HELP THEY GOT ME!" yelled Sonic trying to get away from Scourge, Shadow heard Sonic from the other side and so he started to clime even faster, "SONIC!" yelled Shadow. Blaze heard Shadow's cry, "We have to go now!" said Blaze, "NO NO I WANT TO GO WITH SHADOW!" screamed Sonic very loud, "No your coming with us" said Scourge, they all started to run to the car and clime to make it. Shadow made it to the top he saw Sonic being carried by a green hedgehog, he was now very pissed he open he's mouth to let out a big "ROOOOOAAAAARRRR!" it echoed all over the place, they all looked at Shadow that was running quickly towards there way he wasn't very happy by the look on he's face. Blaze, Scourge, and Espio continue to run, "We can't run anymore we are going to have to clime" said Blaze, she started to deep her claws on the rocks making holes so Espio and Scourge could clime as well, even do Espio could clime the wall fine without holes. Scourge put Sonic on he's shoulder and started to clime as fast as he could, Sonic started to cry he was so frighten, "Shadow please help me" begged Sonic. They keep climbing but then they start to hear big crashes, Scourge looked down to see Shadow climbing very fast and hard pressing he's big claws on the wall, Scourge was intimidated by the way Shadow climed and how he glared at him, "Guys he's catching up fast!" said Scourge, they tried to clime faster, luckily Blaze and Espio made it up, they both looked down to Scourge that was almost up, but Shadow was right behind him and grabbed he's leg, "Give me the Merhog or the leg comes off!" yelled Shadow, "Le me go you brute!" yelled Scourge trying to get free from Shadow's grip, Espio quickly wen't and grabbed a gun pointing it at Shadow's head, "Let the hedgehog go if you want to live" said Espio, Shadow just glared at him. Espio was auddently grabbed and thrown against the car, he then punch Blaze away, Shadow took the opportunity and pulled Sonic out of Scourge's hands and put Sonic close to he's chest, Sonic curled into he's chest. Mephiles then grabbed Scourge ad threw him on Blaze, "Mephiles what are you doing here?" asked Shadow, "Saving your butt Ofcourse" said Mephiles, then Espio stood up still holding the gun, "Well this seems familiar" said Espio. He then remember who they were, "It's you tree, I'm surprise of how much you've grown" said Espio, "Mephiles what is he talking about?" asked Shadow, "Something you didn't have to know" said Mephiles, Espio kneeled he was hurt badly, "It's nice to know the past is yet to repeat it's self" said Espio as he collapse, "Mephiles what's going on?!" asked Shadow, "I'll tell you later" said Mephiles, he felt a sting with made him groan he looked at he's shoulder with was like a some kind of injection or so, he was starting to feel sleepy, "Mephiles are you okay?" asked Shadow, he also felt the sting on he's back and both fainted, "Sh...Shadow? Mephiles?" Sonic was now scared, it was Blaze who had shoot both, "There both out, grab the Merhog" said Blaze.
