  Shadow didn't knew if he should tell Sonic or not, the fireflies were in front of Shadow's face, "What?" asked Shadow, the little fireflies landed on Shadow's hand that was near to Sonic's "You want me to grab he's hand?" asked Shadow, the fireflies made the words "Yes" Shadow didn't look at Sonic he was a little shy, he moved he's hand close and put it on top of Sonic's, Sonic felt something on he's hand he looked to see Shadow's hand was on top of his, Sonic didn't knew what to do now he was blushing a bright red and looked away as well, the fireflies each appear in Shadow and Sonic's face making the figure of them kissing, they both had the same expression a huge blush on there face. Sonic closed he's eyes tight and shook he's head, "I can't" said Shadow, the fireflies moved there heads, when Sonic open he's eyes he's face was very closed to Shadow's, Sonic closed he's eyes tight Shadow knew Sonic was nervous there lips almost, Shadow closed he's eyes and united there lips in one kiss. Sonic felt Shadow's lips touching he's Sonic just relaxed a bit and wrapped arms around Shadow's neck, Shadow put one single hand on Sonic's back. There kiss seemed to last forever it was so deep, to Sonic, Shadow tasted sweet and sour mixed he enjoyed the taste, to Shadow, Sonic's lips were sweet and tender he didn't wanted the kiss to stop. They soon needed to get some air so they stopped the kiss, Shadow keep his muzzle near Sonic's there lips were probably touching, Shadow put a hand on he's cheek, "Your so cute when you blush" said Shadow, Sonic snuggle to he's hand and smiled still blushing, "Shadow do you truly lo-love me?" asked Sonic, Shadow chuckle and gave Sonic another kiss on the lips, "Ofcourse I do, now my question is do you love me?" asked Shadow, Sonic rub he's nose with Shadow's "Ofcourse I do silly" said Sonic with a big smile, Drake gave Mephiles a smack behind of the head, "Owww! what the heck was that for?!" asked Mephiles, "Idiot you got them to kiss!" yelled Drake, "It's over now we take things extreme" said Drake as he keep a eye on Sonic and Shadow who were now leaving, "What are you thinking?" asked Mephiles, "We are going to separate them permanently now, by getting rid of one" said Drake, Mephiles was shocked, "WHAT?! We can't!" yelled Mephiles, "We are doing what's right" said Drake, "That's murdering!" said Mephiles, "No we aren't going to get rid of him, I know someone that can" said Drake, Mephiles was worried he was taking things extreme, "We have no choice Mephiles, now will you help me or watch as your friend will soon suffer" said Drake, Mephiles knew he was going to regret this but he had no other choice.

  Shade was with he's clan, he wonder where could he's nephew and Mephiles were, he was starting to get worried, "Shade?" asked Knuckles the oldest and most experienced from all the of the clan, "Knuckles what is it?" asked Shade, "Something troubles you" said Knuckles, "Yes it's Shadow and Mephiles they haven't return" said Shade, "They will you don't have to worry, what I'm mostly worried is about you Shade" said Knuckles, "Me? Why?" asked Shade, "I sence the past will return to the present and I hope you don't make the same mistakes" said Knuckles, Shade just stood there silent as he heard the words of the elder one. Knuckles knew more than anyone of them knew, "You yet haven't told Mephiles either an one day he will learn on he's own the truth of he's father" said Knuckles, Shade open his eyes with shock, "No he mustn't" said Shade as he turned away, "Why not?" asked Knuckles, "Because he already thinks he is dead" said Shade with sorrow.

  Shadow was now taking Sonic to the beach, Sonic wasn't happy he had to leave but he simply had to, Shadow manage to make it and put Sonic in the water, "Can we meet here tomorrow afternoon?" asked Sonic, "Sure we will" said Shadow he gave the Merhog a peck on the lips before he left. Sonic wen't back home where he knew he's parents would go nuts, as soon as Sonic came back the guards quickly took him in to Jules and Aleena, "Sonic!" screamed Aleena in joy as she saw her son okay, "Sonic where were you?" asked Jules as he wen't to he's son, "Well I was-" before Sonic could even say anything Jules notice the ring in he's finger. Jules grabbed Sonic's arm "What is this?!" asked Jules, "Crap forgot to take that off" though Sonic, "Sonic this is human material I said never make in tact with the human world!" yelled Jules as he took the ring off, "I don't see what is so bad of these things dad!" said Sonic trying to grab the ring, "Tell me where were you?" asked Jules, Sonic stay silent and finally answered "At the beach" said Sonic, both Aleena and Jules gasp, "Sonic making contact with the human world is again the rules, SONIC YOU KNOW THAT!" yelled Jules, "Dad I don't see what's your problem! Dad tell me why can't I at least go to the beach?" asked Sonic, Jules stay quiet he didn't wanted to bring back that memory that was once erased, "I have no reason for me to give you explanation!" yelled Jules, Jules left, "Dad where are you going? Give me back my ring!" yelled Sonic he grabbed he's fathers arm, Jules pushed it away, "YOU WILL NEVER BE A PART OF THAT WORLD!" yelled Jules as he threw the ring, and destroyed it with he's triton shooting a strong beam, "NOOO!" yelled Sonic, Sonic wen't to the ring that was now dust Sonic pick the dust up he was crying, "Why?.." asked Sonic whispering, he now was destroyed inside he keep crying, Jules wen't to Sonic and put a hand on his shoulder. Sonic push he's hand away and left to he's room crying, he wen't to he's room and buried he's face in the pillow, Aleena entered the room, "Sonic?" asked Aleena, "Go away" said Sonic still crying, Aleena left leaving Sonic crying he's eyes out, "I hate this place" said Sonic crying himself to sleep. Marcy enter the room and  whispered, "Relax Sonic soon you will truly feel the pain, and then your tears will fall forever" said Marcy.

  Sonic was opening he's eyes and saw that he was in Shadow's hands, Shadow was fluffy as always, "Shadow!" said Sonic as he wrapped he's arms around he's neck and kiss him. Sonic never felt such a ordinary kiss, they stayed together played in the grass, Sonic had the most wonderful time but when he look at Shadow he notice he was serious gazing upon something, Sonic looked at it. It was a big shadow heading there way, Sonic gasp the shadow push them away making a big wall of glass in the middle of both, "Shadow! Shadow!" yelled Sonic hitting the glass with he's hands and then he stop placing he's hands on that cruel cold glass, Sonic's side was filling with water the grass was now sand. Shadow didn't say a word he just placed he's hands on the crystal, were Sonic had his, Sonic began to cry, "Why?" was the only thing he could whisper.

  Sonic woke up from the horrible nightmare, it was already morning, Sonic didn't wanted to stay too long also he just wanted to leave before he's parents would know, he was about to leave the castle but the guards stop him, "Halt by rules of king Jules you can not leave the castle" said the guards, "What I can't leave, but why?!" asked Sonic upset, "Because I'm tired of you not following my rules" said Jules. Sonic looked at he's father, "This is useless dad please let me go" said Sonic, "No Sonic your not going to leave even if you beg" said Jules as he left, Sonic was mad and swam back to he's room closing the door hard, "Ahh! I hate this place!" yelled Sonic, he sat on the window, "Hey Sonic" whispered he's two tails friend, "Tails hello," said Sonic a little depress, "What's the matter?" asked Tails, "My dad won't let me leave the castle now" said Sonic holding he's tail. Tails realized that Sonic was very sad somehow, "Sorry Sonic, but we can still go to our hide out, I found something that will cheer you up" said Tails, Sonic was now curious to know, he looked around to see if the cost was clear and so they both left. Sonic and Tails wen't to there little secret place, were they had many human things, Sonic was on a rock in the middle, "What do you want to show me?" asked Sonic, Tails quickly showed him a ring that was similar to the one he had, "Where did you got this?" asked Sonic, "Well I wen't to the sinking ship and so I found it" said Tails, Sonic grabbed the ring and hold it close to he's chest it made him feel better, "Tails do you know how it feels to fall in love but it's wrong" said Sonic, Tails was quiet he didn't knew what to say "Not really" said Tails. Sonic looked next to him and saw a blue flower, Sonic grabbed it, "A flower from the upper world" said Tails, "It's a flower, it looks like the one Shadow gave me" said Sonic, Tails was curious, "Who's Shadow?" asked Sonic, "Oh yeah right I never told you this Tails but I meet someone" said Sonic, "Really who is this Merhog?" asked Tails, "Well he's not a Merhog, nor Sharkhog, nor Naga" said Sonic, "Then what is he?" asked Tails, "Well he's a Werehog from the upper world" said Sonic. Tails was shocked he didn't knew "You know your father will never accep it" said Tails, Sonic knew Tails was right, "I know but I can't help it" said Sonic he was looking at the flower. The place was very silent as Sonic commince to sing a song he was a very good singer.

 Luna saw him in her crystal ball, "So he is truly deeply in love with this Werehog, how pathetic" said Luna, she continue to look around her place thinking about something, then she got a idea, "That's it!" said Luna, "With another person that knows he's dirty little secret he might find me as he's blanket of tears" said Luna with a smirk.
