 Shadow was actually in the beach enjoying the night sky, he was holding  the scarf that Sonic gave him. Shadow closed his eyes and lifted his head to feel the breeze. Sonic on the other hand saw a shadow he knew it was Shadow, he pop head out of the water he saw Shadow with his eyes closed enjoying the breeze of the ocean he lied on a rock. Sonic giggled he climbed on the rock Shadow was resting on, Shadow started to feel drops falling on his face, "Is it raining?" he though, Shadow opened his eyes and looked up to see Sonic, "Hi" said Sonic, Shadow just gave Sonic a small smile. Shadow got up to face Sonic but when he did there noses where touching, Shadow had a blush, also did Sonic Shadow stared at those beautiful emerald eyes. Sonic just stared at Shadow's red eyes he gently rub there noses together making like a eskimo kiss. Shadow's heart was racing so fast, "I'm I falling in love with him?" though Shadow, he just stood there not to ruin the moment then Sonic stopped, "Oh sorry I don't know what I was doing" said Sonic, he was then push gently into Shadow's arms, he was in Shadow chest, "It's alright" said Shadow, Sonic was blushing he felt Shadow's soft fur and felt his claw sliding down his quills, Sonic was trying to hold in a purr but couldn't, he started to purr. Shadow though it was cute of Sonic to purr like that, he then remember a little place he wanted to show Sonic, "Hey Sonic?" asked Shadow, "Yes?" said Sonic still purring a little, "Do you want to come with me to see something for a moment?" asked Shadow, "I don't know?" said Sonic in a cute little voice. Shadow couldn't resist but to look at him and smile, "I promise you will like it" said Shadow, Sonic though of it for a moment and then nod, Shadow carefully put the Merhog on his back, "Hang on tight Sonic" said Shadow, Sonic hold on to some of his ears, Shadow started to head somewhere Sonic was unknown he never was out of the water like this before, it felt nice to feel the wind. Shadow stopped in a meadow, Sonic saw some beautiful flowers, "Wow.. What are those?" asked Sonic, "These are flowers" said Shadow he put Sonic in a big puddle that was very near by the flowers Sonic smelled the flowers while Shadow looked around and saw a blue flower he only though of Sonic, he grabbed it and  wen't to Sonic. Shadow showed it to Sonic, Sonic only looked at Shadow, "What's this for?" asked Sonic, "For you" said Shadow, Sonic was actually blushing, "Thank you" said Sonic he gave Shadow a kiss on the cheek, "Yo...you...your welcome" said Shadow he had a big blush on his cheeks, Sonic just giggle seen Shadow's expression. Sonic grabbed the flower an started to smell it, Sonic loved the smell of the flower. Shadow though it was cute of him to act like that, Shadow lay down next to the puddle near Sonic, Sonic looked at his back he climbed on Shadow's head, Shadow felt something wet and turned to look at Sonic, "Is there something wrong Shadow?" asked Sonic, "No I'm just a little tired, it's late" said Shadow, Sonic lay his head on Shadow's, "Do you mind if I sleep here with you?" asked Sonic, "No not at all" said Shadow. They both fell asleep on the moonlight.

  The next morning, Sonic was starting to wake up from a long night rest, he opened his eyes and didn't see Shadow, "Where could he be?" though Sonic, he look at his side and saw a group of apples, "Must have been him" though Sonic he started to eat those sweet apples. Shadow appeared by Sonic, "So you woke up" said Shadow, Sonic looked at the Werehog, "Good morning and thanks for the apples" said Sonic, "My pleasure" said Shadow with a small smile. Sonic returned the smile, "So you wan to head back to the beach?" asked Shadow, "Uhh no not yet" said Sonic, "Why not?" asked Shadow, "I don't feel like going back to a place that rejects me" said Sonic, "No one rejects you Sonic, no one can your the prince" said Shadow, "A prince that is worth nothing" said Sonic his ears lowered, "That's not true your not like that" said Shadow he was now serious, "How do you know what I'm like? We just meet a night ago" said Sonic, "I look at you and I see a beautiful world in you Sonic, your just a rose ready to come out of the ground, but you won't let yourself" said Shadow, Sonic blush by such tender, sweet words. Sonic just turned his head away he didn't wanted to believe Shadow's words, he was too caught up in what happened that night. Shadow knew Sonic wasn't fully convince he picked the Merhog up and hold him close, Sonic had his head under Shadow's, "I know you didn't believe me but it's true" said Shadow, Sonic cuddle  to Shadow, he felt safe in his arms and so much better, "I... I... I feel better now" said Sonic still cuddling in Shadow's arms, "That's good to hear, tell you what, how about you and me have a little get together" said Shadow, "A what?" asked Sonic, "A get together we can go somewhere together" said Shadow, "Okay" said Sonic, Sonic keep his arms around Shadow. Shadow put him on his head, Sonic hanged on him tight, Shadow headed to the forest, "Shadow why are you going in direction to the forest?" asked Sonic, "You will see Soniku" said Shadow, "Did he just called me Soniku?" Sonic though blushing. Shadow keep running around the forest, he then came near between 2 bushes and entered between them, Sonic saw what was there it was a paradise he could see the mountains  there was a puddle very huge and was sorraunded by bushes filled with flowers the sun light made it seem like it was glowing, there was a rainbow, "Wow I've never seen the sky so blue and such clear water" said Sonic, "I knew you would like it" said Shadow he put Sonic in the puddle but Sonic prefer to sit on the side and leave his fin in the water. The water felt nice Sonic had a hand on the green grass, Shadow saw Sonic he was enjoying himself, Shadow smiled. He put his paw near Sonic's hand, Sonic blush, Shadow had his paw now on Sonic's hand "I'm glad your happy now" said Shadow, "Yeah why do you.." Sonic didn't finish his sentence because Shadow wrapped his arms around him putting Sonic near his chest, "Shh just relax" said Shadow, Sonic was in Shadow's chest feelings his warm and soft fur, Sonic also felt his heart beat it was strong and fast. Shadow couldn't control his heart beat, he wanted to keep Sonic in his arms, Shadow cuddle his head next to Sonic's head, Sonic couldn't hold in a purr, "You purr is so gently" said Shadow still cuddling to Sonic, Sonic's face was red. Shadow rubbed Sonic's cheek, "Shadow stop" whispered Sonic, he was too nervous feeling Shadow's touch . Shadow didn't hear Sonic he keep gently cuddling to Sonic, witch made his purr stronger, Sonic then moved making Shadow fall on the puddle, "Ah!" yelled Shadow as he fell on the water, Sonic looked at the water till Shadow swam up, he was all wet, Sonic started to giggle, "Hehehehehe your a wet Werehog" said Sonic, Shadow now had a sneaky smirked on his face, Shadow swam down the water while Sonic was laughing. Sonic looked at the water and didn't see Shadow, "Uhh Shadow?" called Sonic looking at the water looking for Shadow, then Shadow popped out if the water and wrapped his arms around Sonic and took him in the water. It was so unexpected from Shadow to do that out of nowhere, "Hahaha Shadow stop it" said Sonic he started to giggle, Shadow still had Sonic in his arms and he then swam up to get some air, "Haha why did you do that?" asked Sonic, "A little payback for making me fall on the water" said Shadow snuggling his muzzle to Sonic's face, witch was red again. Shadow's ear were pointed up and twitching, "Is there something wrong Shadow?" asked Sonic.Shadow started to sniff the air, "Sonic stay underwater, there is a hunter near by" said Shadow, "Okay but what about you?" asked Sonic, "I'll be fine, but he is heading this way stay under" said Shadow, Sonic nod and swam down, Shadow got out of the water and shock some of the water off.

  Luna was in her underwater cave, "Let's see this stupid Werehog and The Merhog finally meet again but this time I will make sure this Werehog stays out of my way, with my special hunter" said Luna. Luna started to use her dark magic to make the hunter find Sonic, "Merhogs and Werehog will never be! I will make sure of that even if I have to get rid of both of you" said Luna.

  The hunter was heading to the puddle were Sonic was, Shadow was hiding in a bush he knew if the hunter got closer he would have to attack just to protect Sonic. The hunter got closer and closer, she was a purple cat with yellow sun eyes, a tiny piece of jewelry color red in her forehead, Shadow was ready to attack as soon as she got close. Sonic was under water he was so worried about Shadow, "Oh please please please be okay Shadow" begged Sonic, the hunter got a shot gun out, she already knew Sonic was in the puddle, she pointed the gun in Sonic's exact direction. Shadow knew he couldn't let this opportunity go by, he jumped out of the bush letting out a bug, "ROOAARRR!", the hunter was alarmed she was being push down the ground by a big Werehog, "Ahh!" yelled the hunter, "Let go you stupid beast!" yelled the hunter, Shadow had the shotgun in his jaws to brake it, during the struggle the hunter pulled the shotgun. Sonic heard a big "BANG!" and got scared, he quickly swam up, Sonic was shocked he saw Shadow he was hurt his arm was bleeding uncontrollable, "Shadow!" yelled Sonic, the hunter turned to look at Sonic, she knew that was her target, she pointed the gun at him, "NO!" yelled Shadow, he gain unknown strength to stretch his arm and punch the hunter sending her flying away. Sonic was surprise for what he saw Shadow somehow saved him even if he was weak and hurt, Shadow then walked to Sonic, and collapse near the puddle, "Shadow are you okay?" asked Sonic, "Yeah I'm fine, just a little hurt from the arm" said Shadow, "Let me see" said Sonic he grabbed Shadow's arm making Shadow moan in pain, Sonic saw Shadow's  arm was really bad and bleeding a lot, "If it keeps bleeding like that he'll die" though Sonic. Sonic saw that Shadow was suffering, "Shadow I'm so sorry" said Sonic he started to cry, "It's okay Sonic as long as your safe, I'll be just fine" said Shadow, Sonic gave Shadow a kiss on the forehead, but it wasn't just any kiss, Shadow's hurt arm started to shine. Shadow didn't felt pain anymore he was feeling a million times better, he looked at his arm, "How did it.." Shadow couldn't finish his sentence he looked at Sonic, "I cured you, it's called kisses of merhogs they cure he who is hurt" said Sonic he had a little blush on his face his tears were still sliding down his cheek. Shadow put a hand on his cheek and wipe the tear away then lifted his head, "Sonic please don't cry" said Shadow, "It's my fault I shouldn't have stayed here" said Sonic he keep crying and covered his face with his hands, Shadow picked him up and held Sonic close, "Please Sonic don't cry I hate it when you cry, I... I want to see you smile" said Shadow, Sonic start to sob in Shadow's chest fur. Shadow held him closer, "Really?" asked Sonic sobbing, "Of course Sonic meeting you is the best thing I ever meet in my whole life" said Shadow, Sonic blush. 

   Luna back at her deep sea cave was angry, "Blast that darn Werehog, I swear I won't rest till he is gone for good" said Luna, "Darling Calm down" said a Sharkhog that was inside also the cave he had blue striped and quills like Shadiw, "Drake not now I'm planning on a way to get rid of this stupid Werehog" said Luna, "Well you can send me and I'll kill him" said Drake, "No Drake I can't Sonic the little idiot prince is there and I don't want you getting in trouble" said Luna. She was looking in he book of spells, "And there is nothing here that can help!" said Luna, "Honey why want to get rid so bad at that Werehog?" asked Drake, "Because with him in the way it will make it hard for me to earn Sonic's trust, plus Sonic is spending so much time with him wonder why?" said Luna, "Well doesn't that guys have a friend or something, then bust him out, tell about the violation of rules" said Drake, "That's it!" said Luna, "What?" said Drake, "I will make them brake up" said Luna, "How?" asked Drake, "With a fight or something" said Luna, "Yes I will make sure that something terrible happens that Sonic wouldn't want to look at that Werehogs ugly face again" said Luna.

  "Where could Shadow be?" asked Shade the uncle of Shadow, "Shade what's the mater?" asked Mephiles, "Mephiles where's Shadow?" asked Shade, "I don't know I though he was here with you" said Mephiles, "Search for him I'm worried" said Shade. Mephiles nod and wen't to look for Shadow, Knuckles wen't to Shade, "What was done wrong once in the past will repeat itself in the present" said Knuckles, Shade looked at Knuckles confused. Knuckles was the oldest of all the Werehogs, "Yes Shade I just hope your not like your brother in that way" said Knuckles.
