               Where to look?

 Sonic was starting to wake up the light was right in his eyes he yawn opening his mouth wide. Shadow cuddle to Sonic's chest, "Shadow wake up" said Sonic petting his forehead, "Hmmm?" Shadow  looked up at him, "Good morning" said Sonic giving him a kiss on the nose. Sonic quickly sat and got up stretching a little, Shadow got up and did the same. Sonic looked around, "We better head back to the kingdom it has a good harvest we can eat breakfast there" said Sonic grabbing Shadow's hand taking him back to the kingdom. Sonic went to the harvest and grabbed some fruits he likes, "Hmmm? Huh?" Sonic looked over at Shadow that was watching him, "Is something wrong Shady? You can grab any fruit you like" said Sonic, Shadow got near and grabbed a pear. Sonic got close to him and eat some grapes he found in the bushes. Shadow just eat the pear, "Hmm? I think there is someone in the castle" said Sonic as he was going in but Shadow grabbed Sonic's arm and put him behind. Sonic was thoughtful on what Shadow was doing, Shadow went inside first with Sonic behind and looked around.

They went to the second floor and Shadow opened a door where they saw Knuckles on the floor sleeping and Rouge was on the bed. "Oh it's Knuckles" said Sonic, Knuckles opened his eyes and yawn sitting up, "Huh? Oh Sonic and ... Your friend" said Knuckles, Shadow glared at him and looked away. "Hi Knuckles who is your friend?" Sonic asked, Rouge opened her eyes and saw Sonic and Shadow, "Oh it's the other two gods" Rouge though as she sat up. "Huh this is Rouge the bat she is a partner we will be with for a while" said Knuckles, "Ohh hi I'm Sonic, how come I didn't see you before?" Sonic asked getting close to her, "That's because I use to be a secret agent of GUN but I now that they are looking for me " said Rouge, "What is a secret agent?" Sonic asked, "Is someone who works under cover and investigates things, my job was to find this gods but I gave up my job now they are hunting me because I know their secrets" said Rouge, "Ohhhh okay then" said Sonic. "How can mortal like you find a god so easily?" Shadow asked, "It's simple we have a special equipment that helps us" said Rouge. "Equipment?" Sonic asked, "Yes we use them to detect gods like you, but for that we need a special DNA or something that can help" said Rouge, "Then you can find track Shade?" Shadow asked, "Who's that?" Rouge asked, "Yes Shade he is a god like us" said Sonic. "Well there is a possibility but I need DNA from one of you" said Rouge. Sonic pulled a little hair from Shadow's quills and gave it to Rouge, "There" said Sonic. Shadow didn't like that, Rouge grabbed it and went to her van she put it in the scanner of the computer, "So have you found him?" Sonic asked, "Well it says here he is not in this part of the country he seems to be in another city" said Rouge. "Wow what is that a magical screen?" Sonic asked, "No sweetie this a computer screen it helps you with any details you need like for example here is your friend this thing is here the only way for us to go there we need Paris in the capital of France" said Rouge, "What's a France?" Sonic asked, "It's a different place lets just go there" said Knuckles, "But we will be far from the castle I don't want to be far" said Sonic, Shadow looked at him confused. "Why don't you want to find your friend?" Rouge asked, "I want to but ... I'm a bit afraid to leave this place" said Sonic. "Hey guys!" Silver called as he went in the van, "Silver finally what took you so long?" Knuckles asked, "Same old same old" said Silver, "Okay well we are going to France" said Knuckles. "Yes finally! I'm finally going there and I see Rouge is here too" said Silver, Rouge wave her hand at him, "I told you the story she will be with us from now on" said Knuckles. Sonic looked around and left the van going back into the castle, "I wonder why Sonic doesn't want to leave? I mean he was only in the kingdom because of the pillars" said Knuckles, "Maybe he is already bond to the place so he is use to being near the castle" said Rouge.

Shadow went to Sonic who was inside, "Sonic?" Shadow put his hands on Sonic's arms, "I'm afraid to leave the castle" said Sonic, "Why?" Shadow asked, "So many things that happen here, I've spend so many years taking care of this kingdom what will happen if I leave it?" Sonic asked, "Nothing I'll be here with you during this process Sonic, just like I was back then" said Shadow. Sonic hugged him, "As long as your with me I wouldn't mind as long as you promise to stay" said Sonic, Shadow nod.

 "Well I can get us private tickets there, but the problem is Sonic and Shadow don't appear in the systems. We are going to have to make a fake one at least till we find this guy, it maybe opportunity for me to learn more about this gods" said Rouge, "Why so interested to know?" Knuckles asked. " I always been interesting to know the reasons and the ways Zeus creates them and what powers they posses" said Rouge. Knuckles looked in the computer as she was comparing Shadow's DNA with his, "How come you are half god?" Rouge asked, "Well I don't remember my father said that Zeus gave him god powers for a reason but he never told me" said Knuckles. "Then what can you do that is ordinary?" Rouge asked, "I can lift things that are extremely heavy too heavy that other people wouldn't be able to lift" said Knuckles, "What about flying?" Rouge asked, "Well no I can do that without god powers also Silver can because of his psychics powers" said Knuckles.

"Oh so flying is not included" said Rouge, "Okay guys instead of speaking about flying lets concentrate more on this guy, "Who is he?" Silver asked, "Silver it's Shade, Sonic's other friend" said Knuckles, Silver looked at the screen and saw a little point, but the saw like another around the city and tree more in the castle. "Wait aren't Sonic and Shadow the only ones in the castle?" Silver asked, "Hmm? Maybe there is something wrong with the computer scanner" said Rouge. Rouge was checking it while Shadow was with Sonic in the castle, Shadow was hugging Sonic close, he felt something near by and Sonic did too. "Shadow?" Sonic looked up at him, Shadow quickly looked behind himself and saw Fleetway who was posing on a rock, "Hello don't mind me I'm just here to see the breeding" said Fleetway as he was eating a taco, Shadow glared at him and Sonic looked at him surprise. Shadow got in front of Sonic, "Wait a minute it's you" said Sonic, Shadow looked back at Sonic confused. Sonic pass by Shadow and went to Fleetway, "Your the god that was with us at the part and also the one that was flirting with Silver" said Sonic, "Yes and may I say that I think your cute!" Fleetway said hugging him close to his chest. Sonic giggled, Shadow got mad and went to Fleetway pushing him away and this time Shadow held Sonic close to his chest, "Don't you dare touch him" said Shadow, Sonic blush as he looked up at Shadow.

"Oh excuse me for giving my opinion" said Fleetway laughing, "Why are you here?" Sonic asked, "As usual doing my job, I came to make people panic" said Fleetway, "But why?" Sonic asked, "Because it is my job" said Fleetway, "It doesn't have to be making people panic is terrible, why not do another things instead of that?" Sonic asked, "Well at first I was trying to win your Silver friend's heart but he wouldn't let me" said Fleetway, "What did you do?" Sonic asked. Fleetway whisper in his ear, "Well I can see why" said Sonic, "Oh please like you could help" said Fleetway, "I can" said Sonic. "You can?" Fleetway asked, Sonic smiled sweetly at him "Sure haven't you ever tried to being polite to him I don't know maybe limit yourself and then maybe he will respond" said Sonic. "That's stupid" said Fleetway, "Oh but it might work I know so" said Sonic. Fleetway looked away and then back at him, "Look kid I just came here for the same reasons to serve Hades there is no point in helping me if I won't return the favor" said Fleetway. "It's okay I didn't expected anything in exchange, I'm not like that" said Sonic, "Oh please you act all sweet and innocent when the truth is Zeus has lied to you all by putting a mask in front of you all" said Fleetway, "What are you talking about?" Shadow asked. "Zeus intention was never to bring you back to Olympus he wanted you threw to stay down here for as long as it takes you and learned and become like the mortals you are not" said Fleetway, "No Zeus would never do that" said Sonic.

"Ask him yourself all gods that finish their job return to Olympis when they please but you tree were the exception. He used a excuse to make you stay his plans were going fine till the day Hades got to one of you" said Fleetway, "Hades was the one responsible for what happen" said Shadow, "Hades did not turned you into stone for a thousand years, he punish you and your brother. He wanted Sonic to stay to fulfill what you all couldn't but he never knew about the pillars so Sonic never learned about the humans adaption" said Fleetway, "But why would you tell us this?" Sonic asked, "Because I'm a bad guy and I like to break harsh news to you" said Fleetway. Sonic looked concern, Shadow got mad and grabbed him by the shirt, "How do I know your not lying?" Shadow asked, "Why don't you asked Zeus yourself?" Fleetway smirked and disappear.

Shadow looked at his hands as Fleetway disappear like nothing. Shadow was confused, "Is it true?" Sonic asked looking over at Shadow. Shadow looked at Sonic, "... I could tell he wasn't lying" said Shadow, "Huh?" Sonic looked confused and stare at the floor, "You don't deny it?" Sonic asked, "What is there to deny? Years in this world I wouldn't be surprise" said Shadow, "Huh.... You have mature so much Shadow" said Sonic going next to him, "What? What makes you say that?" Shadow asked, "Well you saved that kid and I remember that it took me allot of effort to get you to save a kingdom, but you did it because you wanted to" said Sonic. "Nothing will ever stay the same Sonic, we all have to change at some time... The only thing I don't want in this world to change is you" said Shadow. Sonic tilt his head, "Some things are worth changing but I don't want you to change" said Shadow putting a hand on Sonic's cheek, "Huh?" Sonic blush smiling and cuddle to Shadow's hand. "Well I stay the same all this years why would I change now?" Sonic asked, "I know that's what I like the most" said Shadow. "So are we going or what?" Sonic asked playfully, Shadow nod and grabbed Sonic's hand going back to the van. "Okay so the first thing we will do is get a train to the station so after that were we leave is just the cities airport" said Rouge, "Okay so when are we going?" Silver asked, "We can leave tomorrow I made out tickets online, for now we have to go to the city and get ready" said Rouge.

"What do you mean?" Knuckles asked, "Well we wouldn't want to get too expose, my van can shape into any size so I will turn it into a cube but we need to get stuff like food so we don't have to go to those places after all we are looking for a god who knows how long it will take us" said Rouge. "Okay so what about we get the harvest?" Sonic asked, "Actually it's best if we back other things like cereal, and food in cans stuff like that, also we need to pack what we need" said Rouge. "Well me Sonic and Shadow will get that stuff" said Silver, "Okay" said Sonic agreed. Later that say Silver was went to the grocery store with Sonic and Shadow, "Okay guys we need to get this things" said Silver giving him a small list of things, Sonic grabbed the paper and started to look at it and tilt his head. He showed it to Shadow, and Shadow started to read it "I don't get it" said Shadow, "What you don't understand my writing?" Silver asked, "No I can read it but I don't understand what each word means" said Shadow. "Oh yeah I forgot, well anyway then you two stay close to me and I'll tell you" said Silver as they went through the shelves. Shadow and Sonic looked around confused, "Such a unusual way for mortals to storage theirs harvest" said Shadow, "It's called grocery shopping you should learn that you both should learn how to act more normal" said Silver. Sonic and Shadow looked at each other confused, "Okay we need some canned food are out best choice, Sonic chose the ones from tomato and bean and other things like that we can eat" said Silver.

"Well okay" said Sonic as he started to grab different cans, "Silver what's spaghetti?" Sonic asked, "That's eatable don't worry it taste good" said Silver. After that they walked over to the other side and Silver started to grab things like ham and cheese, "Hey look over there" said Silver pointing at some muffins, "What are those exactly?" Shadow asked, "Muffins it wouldn't hurt to go buy some, go get them" said Silver. Sonic went with Shadow, "I wonder how they taste" said Sonic as he grabbed them and was going to head back to Silver but he trip making him fall, "Hey!" Shadow quickly grabbed him by the arms avoiding him from getting hurt, Sonic looked up at him. "Be more careful" said Shadow, Sonic smiled at him blushing, "I knew you would catch me" said Sonic. Shadow blush looking away raising Sonic up and then putting him on his feet. "Thank you" said Sonic, Shadow was still looking away. Sonic went to Silver and gave him the muffin, "Here you go" said Sonic, "Thanks now all we have to do is go to the register" said Silver.

At the register, Silver was putting the things so the cashier could do her job. They had allot of stuff so it took a while, "Hey what the heck is taking so long?!" The guy asked impatient, "It will take us a long time sir please wait" said the cashier, "I have already waited for 20 minutes" said the guy. Shadow was getting mad and he was holding it in for so long, "Hello! Other people want to buy things to feed their family" said the guy. "Look why don't you do us all a favor and shut the hell up!" Shadow said, "Shadow!" Sonic pulled his arm. "If you are so impatient to wait well then go somewhere else because I swear if I hear another word you will see nothing but my fist in your face!" Shadow yelled the guy stayed quiet and so did everyone else. "...... Huh that will be 122$" said the cashier, Silver grabbed his wallet and gave her the money as fast as he could so they could leave. "Well that wasn't my best trip" said Silver, "I think it was fascinating knowing how you but your food in cans" said Sonic, "Well not all foods" said Silver. "How about you Shadow? how did you felt about visiting the place?" Sonic asked, "I found it irritating" said Shadow, "I know how you feel" said Silver. Shadow just keep following Silver as well as Sonic.

Rouge was in the van while Knuckles came back, "I don't understand this thing, at first it says that this god is in Paris and then it says he moved somewhere and then came back" said Rouge. "Maybe your computer is having problems" said Knuckles, "I don't think so this systems are made for this they don't get easily damage" said Rouge. "Then let me take a look" said Knuckles, "I'm sorry but I don't trust a handsome face" said Rouge, Knuckles chuckled. "Well someone doesn't trust me" said Knuckles, "It's not that I don't want to trust you, but I don't let anyone mess with my van" said Rouge. "But I'm not just anyone" said Knuckles, "Is that so?" Rouge asked, "Yes after all I am your prey for being half god" said Knuckles, "Oh excuse me where are my manors, yet it doesn't matter how strong this god is a lady has her own secret power" said Rouge putting a finger on his chest. "So your saying it's a weakness to a god?" Knuckles asked, "Not just any god a half one lIke you but I have to test it first to see how effective it can be" said Rouge winking at him. "Bring it on but I have to warn you I play fire with fire" Knuckles pulled Rouge close, she smirked and their faces were really close. "Then lets see who gets burn" she said, "What the hell are you two doing?" Silver asked as he watch it all, Knuckles and Rouge quickly let go of each other blushing.

"Well that seemed like a bonding conversation" said Sonic, "Yeah bonding, did you get the stuff?" Rouge asked, "Yes and plenty" said Silver, "Good I'll get it all later" said Rouge. "So what now?" Silver asked, "Well I suggest you get all the things you want to take to our little trip" said Rouge. "Okay then I'm going to have to need to drive home, Knuckles will you accompany me?" Silver asked, "Alright but don't take too long I really hate to be there for a hour just so you can decided what shirt to wear the first day" said Knuckles. "Oh please you know I don't take that long" said Silver. Sonic and Shadow looked at the screen which Rouge was working on, "We will be leaving tomorrow morning, first we will take the train to the airport and then we take the air plain there" said Rouge. Shadow and Sonic stay in blank they both didn't understand what Rouge said, "I know that you don't understand most of the things I just said but you will learn soon enough, before you know it you will understand everything trust me" said Rouge. "Okay then, so we leave tomorrow that's good it will give me time to say goodbye to my surroundings" said Sonic going out the van and walking away, Shadow followed his it would see that was like a body guard to Sonic.

Sonic just walked around and touch the trees, Shadow just watch him carefully. "You might then I'm odd but to be every plant and tree has a spirit and life even feelings I can't help but to treat them that way" said Sonic, "On the contrary I find it unique to find someone like you" said Shadow. Sonic made a soft chuckle, "Your the first to say that in after so long, the only things I spoke to my life were my surroundings it made me feel good" said Sonic. "I know" Shadow wrapped his hands around Sonic's waist, Sonic looked up at Shadow, "Shadow?" Sonic asked, "If you knew what you mean to me Sonic, now and before nothing has really changed" said Shadow, "What are you saying?" Sonic asked. "I can't hold it in Sonic" Shadow turned him around holding him close, Sonic was blushing a red since their faces were close, "Sonic I want to be the one to protect you, I want to be with you for as long as I live. Sonic .... I" said Shadow pausing.
